About M.O.S
M.O.S builds sets the way he collects records: slowly, by ear, keeping only what moves a room.
Born of African roots and based in Brussels, M.O.S folds R&B warmth and Eastern lines into eclectic, bass-forward house. Vinyl and hardware sit beside the digital rig; tradition and modernity are mixed in the same channel. His sets are patient and sensual before they are loud, built to read the floor rather than fight it, from club rooms to open-air stages and the Kiosk Radio booth.
The name belongs to Michael Oulbaz Suarez, a selector who came to production through years of listening: analog records, East African and Eastern tonalities, the R&B he grew up on, and the deep end of house music. That mix gives his sets their signature, seductive rhythms under hypnotic patience, groove before spectacle.
On record, the Lui & M.O.S remix of Attari's "Gemmayzeh" came out on Monkey Parade Records, and 2026 brought a self-released run, Amour Seum, Cataclysme 2.0 and Automatic Sex. On stage he moves between vinyl, hardware and CDJs, from Brussels club rooms and the Kiosk Radio booth to beach bars, forest stages and the desert floor.
Three new productions are in the works, sample-driven and machine-built. Behind them sits a longer plan: a label and a party series of his own, built the same way as the sets, piece by piece, with nothing in the bag that doesn't earn its place.
